With the hastag of #BoycottDolceGabbana, Elton John began a social media campaign against the Italian fashionista firm.
John, a gay man and father of two, was enraged by disparaging comments made by Domenico Dolce who called children that were conceived using in-vitro-fertilization “synthetic” children.
“How dare you refer to my beautiful children as ‘synthetic’?” John wrote on his Instagram account Sunday.
Dolce replied by calling Mr. John a “fascist” before having to do some public back-peddling from his previous remarks.
