President Barrack Obama sought Congressional approval today to wage a long-term, urban war against ISIS/ISIL, the Islamic State but denies seeking approval for a ground war.

This is a depart from the President’s previous track-record of drone attacks and “sanctioned hits” on over-seas American citizens in countries such as Yemen. Congressional approval was not sought in these cases nor the military action against Libya or any actions in Syria thus far.
