Appearing on EXTRA with interviewer Mario Lopez, Ryan Reynolds discussed the rating of his up and coming movie.
Reynolds will be playing the title character Deadpool in a new Hollywood, Marvel Comics sanctioned film. Reynolds has played the character before in the film X-Men Origins:Wolverine(2009). The film was panned by fans who found the Deadpool character to be nothing like his comic-book predecessor.
Reynolds joked with host Lopez that his film would get a PG-13 rating, highly unlikely considering the violence and profanity that is associated with the character known for his filter-less mouth and katana swords.
Expect Deadpool to have an “R” rating when it arrives in theaters in 2016.
