SPIDER-FANS REJOICE!

The Amazing Spider-Man, Marvel Comic’s flagship character is swinging home.

Created by Stan Lee & Steve Ditko in 1962 and first appearing in Amazing Fantasy #15, Spider-Man has long been Marvel Comic’s number one son.

The beloved character has been in legal limbo appearing in two separate franchises, both owned by the technological, marketing behemoth Sony Pictures. Sony has finally released its tight-grip on the character, coming to an agreement with Marvel’s parent company Disney. Disney which also owns Star Wars seems poised to take over all of pop-culture with its long-reaching arms and deep pockets.

Spider-Man first became popular in the 1960’s partially due to the popularity of the character’s alter-ego who was but teen-age Peter Parker living at home with his loving Aunt May.

Marvel plans on using the character from 2006/2007 story-line entitled Civil War which when it first appeared in our post 9/11 era, pitted hero against hero, some fighting for a super-hero “registration act” some against it.

Fans hope to see the new love-child of Marvel, Sony & Disney May 6, 2016 in Captain America: Civil War.
