The quote about the Arcadians from the film 300 (2006) on how “They make a wondrous mess of things.” could verily be applied to today’s police force who can not seem to go a week without shooting a black guy dead.
This time, in the attached video below, you can see that they have arrived to escort a mother who is having trouble with her mentally challenged son. The son is seen standing in the door way with a screwdriver.
They ask him to drop it. He does not.
The officers than proceed to gun the young man down before the eyes of his own mother. The officers are then recorded making the outlandish claim that they “had” to shoot him.
The casual viewer can not help but notice the holstered taser the officer is armed with, begging the question as to why they did not use it, pepper spray, or some other form of non-lethal force?
