The Miami Beach mansion of notorious crime lord Al Capone is open to receive visitors. After an extensive property renovation an investment team has opened the mansion for film & video shoots.
Capone bought the 1922 mansion on the 30,000 square foot property for $40,000 back in 1928 during Prohibition’s heyday. The property most recently sold for $7 million dollars. It is said that Miami reminded the gangster of his Old World home in Italy.
Capone died in 1947 in the home at the age of 48.
