Marijuana is officially legal in the Yukon state. Alaska is the third state to join the ranks of states that have decriminalized the mostly harmless plant.
This is not a free for all with teen gangs roaming the streets with blunts hanging from their lips, rather it is a controlled legalization with legislature hoping to keep “weed” away from anyone under the age of 21, mimicking alcohol laws throughout the nation.
Retail outlets will likely be unseen until the following year.
