Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel appeared before the United States Congress on Tuesday, March 3 to encourage action against the nation of Iran to thwart its nuclear capabilities.
Netanyahu painted a picture of Iran as some sort of mastermind of terror of the entire Middle-East, making such wild claims as to say that Iran controls Damascus & Baghdad.
Bibi’s speech was full of hypocrisy as he accused Iran of “gobbling” up nations while Israel itself is in violation of 77 United Nation’s resolutions. Resolution 242 calls for Israel to return land to the Palestinians and to pull-out occupational forces as per the the pre-1967 war borders.
It’s important to note that Israel refuses to sign the Treaty of Non-Nuclear Poliferation, and itself has over 80 nuclear bombs while Iran has not waged a proper war in 200 years.
President Obama dismissed the Prime Minister’s war-mongering as nothing new, and is relying on diplomatic relations to influence the Persian state.
