Jimmy Fallon surprised the Marjory Stoneman Douglas class of 2018 graduation with a speech Sunday.

The graduation took place at Sunrises’s BB&T Center.  Fallon provided some “thoughts” he said have helped him throughout his life. “When something feels hard, remember that is gets better,”  “Choose to move forward, and don’t let anything stop you.”  I imagine he’s speaking directly about their anti-gun, anti-NRA, anti-2nd amendment movement which many folks do are not supportive of.

He mentioned meeting many of them at the March For Our Lives Movement in Washington back in March, which he of course supports.

Fallon thanked the students for their courage and bravery following the Feb 14th shooting at their school where 17 people lost their lives.

Diplomas were presented to 4 students who would have graduated; Nicholas Dworet, Joaquin Oliver, Meadow Pollack, and Carmen Schentrup.

I can only imagine how difficult things have been, and still are for the students and faculty at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.  As time goes by; hopefully they are able to move forward and live their lives.
