Lesley Gore, singer of “It’s My Party” died on February 16 at the age of 68 from lung cancer.
Ms. Gore was born Lesley Sue Goldstein in Brooklyn, New York in 1946. Her trademark song “It’s My Party” was a number one hit and sold a million records earning her a gold record.
