Putting the “Fort” in Fort Lauderdale with the military precision of a concentration camp guard; a Fort Lauderdale officer was caught assaulting an old man, slapping him to the ground so hard that his head appears to hit the pavement. The victim was not acting violent nor hostile at the time of the attack.
As though the initial abuse was not enough, the viewers of the cell-phone caught assault can hear the slap of the officer’s rubber gloves hitting the man’s face for a second time while the senior citizen lay prone on the ground.
The assault occurred at the Broward Central Bus Terminal. The officer’s name remains unknown.
