Action star Bruce Willis celebrates a birthday today March 19th, 2015.
Born in 1955 West Germany to a G.I. father, Willis eventually moved to California after graduating from a New Jersey high-school.
Bruce first got his big break appearing in the popular crime drama Miami Vice but he is best known to American television viewers as private detective David Addison in Moonlighting (1985-1989).
The actor has appeared in many a Hollywood blockbuster since his early television days from starring in the Die Hard (1988-2013) action-film series to science-fiction epics like Armageddon (1998) and The 5th Element (1997) and the list goes on and on.
Willis, like a lot of other actors, experienced a boost in his acting career after working on Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction (1994).
Mr. Willis turns 60 today March 19.
