According to the most recent research, drinking your favorite addictive morning beverage, coffee, could actually be good for your liver.
Evidently, it has been shown, that drinking a few cups of coffee each day can lower the level of non-performing enzymes in your liver. Drinking decaffeinated coffee provides the same results.
To determine how decaf coffee affects enzymes in your liver, Xiao, and his colleagues used prior data, and reviewed research which was conducted on over 27,000 people whom were older than age 20.
The primary focus of the research was the general health of American citizens, who were having medical examinations.
Through research, scientists conclude that compared to non-coffee drinkers, people who consume over three cups of coffee per day, had lower levels of liver enzymes.
Scientists have found that people who drank three or more cups of coffee a day had lower levels of liver enzymes compared with non-coffee drinkers.
Be healthy! Be Aware, and don’t forget to exercise. Everything in moderation.
