The TSA were forced to shoot a New Orleans man three times.
The incident began when a man purportedly sprayed wasp spray at the TSA agents. Wasp spray can be used as a chemical deterrent against humans. After spraying the agents with the chemical spray the attacker revealed a machete and began to swing it wildly.
As agents attempted escape, some defended themselves with random pieces of luggage. One female agent managed to draw her gun in her retreat and shot the aggressor three times. Another agent was hit by the fire.
The culprit, Richard White 63, is a retired cab-driver from Jefferson Parish according to local sheriffs.
